The entity responsible for a particular investment or advisory engagement, and the terms of that engagement, must be identified separately. Group references on this website do not make every group entity a party to an engagement.
Website terms.
Information, advice and investment risk
The website describes our business and approach. Its content is general information, does not take account of your objectives, financial position or needs, and is not financial product, legal, tax or other professional advice. It is not an offer or invitation to acquire an investment, or a recommendation to enter a transaction.
Do not rely on website content alone when making an investment or business decision. Obtain advice appropriate to your circumstances and review the relevant transaction documents. Investment involves risk, including loss of capital. References to attractive returns, downside protection or environmental and social outcomes describe our investment approach and objectives; they are not guarantees of performance or outcomes.
Visiting the website or sending an enquiry does not, by itself, create an advisory relationship or oblige Pulsar to accept an engagement. Any services are subject to a separately agreed scope and terms, and to applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Accuracy and availability
We take reasonable care in preparing website content, but it may be incomplete or become out of date. Please contact us to verify information material to a decision. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Content and services described on the website may change.
Permitted use and intellectual property
You may view the website and retain reasonable extracts for your own information or internal business purposes, with attribution and any copyright notices intact. Unless otherwise stated, we own or license the content. Other reproduction, distribution or commercial use requires our written permission, except where permitted by law.
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with its operation, infringe another person's rights or use it for unlawful purposes. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security concerns or legal requirements.
Links and external services
Links and embedded services are provided for convenience. They do not imply endorsement. Third-party websites and services have their own terms and privacy practices, and their content and availability are outside our control.
Liability and your rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nor do these terms exclude liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
Subject to those protections, Pulsar is not responsible for loss to the extent caused by your unlawful use of the website or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These website terms do not replace or alter the terms of a separately agreed engagement.
Enquiries, disputes and governing law
Please raise questions or concerns at hello@pulsarholdings.org so we can seek to resolve them. This does not prevent you from contacting a regulator, obtaining urgent relief or exercising a legal right.
These website terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, with the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts and courts hearing appeals from them. Mandatory rights under other applicable laws are preserved. Access from another country does not mean that every service described is available or authorised there.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent legally possible. Updates to these terms apply to future website use from publication and do not retrospectively alter an existing engagement.
Website privacy notice.
This notice addresses personal information connected with visits to this website and enquiries made using its contact details.
Information you provide
When you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, such as your name, organisation, contact details and enquiry. We use this information to consider and respond to your enquiry and discuss any proposed engagement. Relevant Pulsar personnel and service providers supporting our communications may handle it for those purposes. Information may also be disclosed where required or authorised by law.
Please provide only information needed for the enquiry. Before sending sensitive personal information or confidential transaction documents, contact us to agree an appropriate method of exchange and any confidentiality arrangements. You can make a general enquiry without identifying yourself, although we may need further details to assist.
Website hosting and cookies
The website is hosted by Squarespace. It processes technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, referring pages and pages viewed to deliver, maintain and protect the website and its platform. Its practices are described in the Squarespace privacy policy.
Necessary cookies support the operation of the website. We have disabled non-essential Squarespace cookies, including its analytics cookies, and the Squarespace visitor activity log. These settings do not prevent the technical processing needed to operate the website or all processing by external services described below.
Google services and overseas processing
The contact page contains an embedded Google map, which also uses Google-hosted font resources. Loading these services sends technical information, including your IP address and browser details, to Google. See Google’s privacy policy for its practices and available controls. Other external links are subject to the destination provider’s privacy practices.
Squarespace and Google operate internationally. Website information can be processed outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where these providers operate. Their linked privacy policies explain their processing and transfer arrangements.
Security, access and privacy enquiries
No internet transmission is completely secure. Contact us before sending material requiring special protection. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by Pulsar, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing hello@pulsarholdings.org or writing to our contact address above. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing information. Legal and record-keeping requirements may affect a deletion request.
Please describe the information or concern involved so we can investigate and respond. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or another relevant privacy regulator, where it has jurisdiction. This notice does not limit your rights under applicable privacy law.
We will update this notice as website practices change and show the revision date above. An update does not itself provide consent for a materially different use of previously collected personal information.
